The federal Terrorism Insurance subsidy is ending

Expiring terrorism insurance program alarms Md. industries (Baltimore Sun, December 27)

The Baltimore Sun reports that federal Terrorism Insurance program is ending on December 31st because of Congress. It might get reauthorized, but I am skeptical. That would require Congress to pass a bill and the President to sign it. I'll believe it when it happens.

Also, apparently Maryland has the second highest rate of terrorism insurance in the country. (Perhaps because of proximity to D.C.?)
